Terms of Use

www.sweetboxonline.co.uk is owned and operated as a retail outlet for The Original SweetBox Limited registered in England and Wales.    The price for each product is shown on SweetBoxonline.co.uk and includes V.A.T at 20%.  All transactions between our customers and SweetBoxonline.co.uk are conducted in GBP.  All weights are quoted in the European metric system, weights may vary from time to time and are indicative quantities.

Orders & Delivery

We always try to make sure that the prices on SweetBoxonline.co.uk are accurate but errors may occur. If we discover an error in pricing of the products in your order we will inform you as soon as possible using the contact details you supply us with. We will endeavour where reasonable to honor the price you have paid.

 

All transactions between our customers and SweetBoxonline.co.uk are in GBP.  Any charges levied by your card issuing  company for purchases from non UK residents may be charged an exchange rate / service charge.  In this event and in the event of a refund SweetBoxonline.co.uk will not be held liable for any card charges.

 

You will be notified of the delivery costs automatically before you proceed with placing your order these are based on the size and weight of your order and the delivery address you specify. We currently use the Royal Mail 1st and 2nd class delivery service for all domestic and international orders. All orders over £10 GBP will be sent Royal Mail signed for. However, some of our large products including some hampers, wedding favour packs, party packs & corporate gift packs may can be sent by courier, you will be advised about this at the check out page.

 

Non-EU customers are responsible for Import Duty/Tax in their respective countries. Unfortunately we cannot advise you what these costs will be - please consult your local customs office for more information. 

 

We will make every effort to deliver within the time stated on SweetBoxonline but we will not be liable for any loss caused to you by late delivery.  

 

Please order from SweetBoxonline.co.uk with enough lead-time to prevent any loss or disappointment resulting from the delivery time as SweetBoxonline.co.uk cannot be responsible for this.

 

If the products are not delivered within the estimated delivery time which we quote, please contact us by telephone or email and we will try and ensure that you receive your order, as quickly as possible, or if you wish you may cancel your order and we will refund the money you have paid for the item. Please note that while items sent by Royal Mail usually arrive within 2-5 days, Royal Mail stipulate that only items still not delivered after 15 working days can be officially classified as lost.


Payment
You must pay for your order before it is delivered and you can do so by credit card, debit card, or PayPal.
We use PayPal as our payment gateway allowing a safe and secure payment process for our customers.
Your credit card company may also do security checks to confirm it is you making the order. 

 

Corporate sales - Corporate buyers will have a pre-agreed credit limit following appropriate credit checks and specific terms of business.  All invoices issued by Sweetboxonline.co.uk will be on a strict 7 day’s payment term. 

 

Availability  
We try to keep SweetBoxonline.co.uk as up to date as possible but, due to the nature and limited availability of some of the products that we sell, we cannot guarantee available at all times.  Should we be unable to supply a product we reserve the right to replace it with an alternative sweet. We may also offer you the option of having the product sent to you as a back order or, alternatively, we will refund or re-credit your account with the amount debited by us.

 

All offers are available while stocks last. If we are unable to supply a product you have ordered, we will notify you as soon as we can after receiving your order. If this happens, you may cancel your order and we will refund you the money you have paid for it. 

 

Returns

We know that everyone changes their mind.  However given the nature of our products sweetboxonline.co.uk can only accept returns when the item is still in the original postage packing and has not been opened. As the contents are food we will need them to be returned to us unopened within 14 days of purchase to obtain a full refund.

 

Please note sweetboxonline.co.uk will not refund any cost of postage or any credit / debit charges that may be incurred in returning the item to sweetboxonline.couk if levied by your card issuing company. 

 

Please note that in some circumstances if 3rd party costs have occured eg. postage, courrier services, printing or specific packaging these cost may not be returned.

 

Sweetboxonline.co.uk will only make a refund back to the original card use, should this card be no longer active then a credit code will be issued for the full amount to be used on sweetboxonline.co.uk.  

 

Sweetboxonline.co.uk will make every effort to ensure our customer is happy, should your product arrive to you damaged (excluding the sweets) we will either replace the item (excluding the sweets unless they are inedible), offer a part refund or a credit code depending on the circumstances.

 

Should you receive your item form sweetboxonline.co.uk and you are not happy with it, please contact us and we will make every effort to resolve the situation by sending an alternative.  Where sweetboxonline.co.uk chooses to send an alternative product as a replacement, we may choose to charge the customer the postage charges. 

 

All items should be retuned to our address on our contact us page.

 

Cancelation
Should you want to cancel your order with sweetboxonline.co.uk after placing it please can you check the item has not been posted by logging into your account.    Should you need to cancel your order please do so by e-mailing tom@sweetboxonline.co.uk with your order number and if possible a note explaining why.  

 

Please bear in mind if you wish to cancel your order after it has been processed and shipped you will still be charged the shipping costs and have to return the unwanted item.  

 

For this we allow a 24 hour period between the order placed, processed and shipped 

Privacy Policy

By making an order and submitting your data you agree to the way in which we use your personal information

When placing and order, we will ask you for certain personal information (for example your name, phone number, postal address, e-mail address and bank / credit card details.  We may also record customer traffic to and within our site, along with products you have purchased or expressed an interest in.


At Sweetboxonline.co.uk makes a commitment to protecting your privacy and promises only to use information collected about you in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. This information may be used in conjunction with the following:


a. processing your order 
b. building our customer profile
c. product development
d. marketing communication targeted or generic
e. operate prizes and give aways 

 

Marketing Communications
If you have used the sweetboxonline.co.uk web site before, joined our mailing list or have ordered products from us it is possible that we have this information already and it is being used to contact you about offers, events, items or related activities that you may find useful. If you are an existing customer we will continue to keep you informed unless you tell us not to.

 

We will not bombard you with emails, but we'd like to keep you informed of the developments and offers from sweetboxonline.co.uk.  As a new customer you will be automatically added, unless you state other wise to our marketing database, should you wish to unsubscribe or stop getting e-mails from us at anytimes please follow the link on your last e-mail or click here.

 

We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to other companies but from time to time we may want to share data with other reputable companies both within and outside the European Union who may have interesting offers and information for you.
